Nizhni Novgorod Agribusiness to Build Poultry Farms in Abkhazia

NIZHNI NOVGOROD. The Seimovskaya agribusiness from the Nizhni Novgorod Region (Volga area) will build poultry farms in Abkhazia (North Caucasus) using loans of the Russian agricultural bank, Rosselkhozbank.
The project will have two stages. At the first stage, Seimovskaya will build an egg farm with an annual capacity of 25mn eggs in the Ochamchira District of Abkhazia. At the second, it will set up a broiler farm there.
Investment in the project will total RUR600mn ($20.7mn, or 13.9mn), with RUR500mn to be loaned by the bank.
The Seimovskaya agribusiness, registered in 1996, focuses on egg and poultry meat production.
