Liberation Day (September 30) - Commemorates the driving out of Georgian forces from Abkhazia.

Abkhaz Army Day (October 11)

Kurbannihua (Fall, determined by lunar cycle) - International religious Muslim holiday.

Lykhnashta (Fall, after harvest) -Abkhazians gather in the village of Lykhny for horse races, equestrian games, outdoor exhibits, produce markets, and craft products from across Abkhazia.
